School is having students from seven nearby villages of Gaura Chowki, Gonda district of U.P. State, India. U. P. State of India shares 22.25% (30,740,158 out of 138,188,240 Muslims) of total India Muslim population. In Gonda District, Muslim shares 19.3% (532,585) of total district population (2,765,586). However in and around Iqra Model School the Muslim population is approximately 70% of total area population.

The people living in surrounding areas belong to villages with very low economic profiles. The majority of Muslim population belongs to non-workers group (69%). So people are not in a position to contribute for school fees or development of school.

Most of the parents find it difficult to bear the educational expenses for their children and thus literacy rate is also very low (29.2%).

Purchase of 1acre of land adjacent to school premise and construct 7 Classrooms and two Washrooms (toilets) on that piece of land.

2. Construction of 7 Classrooms @ Rs. 75,000/- * 7 rooms = 5,25,000

3. Construction of 2 Washrooms @ Rs. 37,500/- * 2 toilets = 75,000

Organization Details:-

Since 1996 the school is under the management of AICMEU through its subsidiary Iqra Education Society, Gaura Chowki (registered to B.S.A., Gonda district, Govt. of Utter Pradesh, India. So the application is being submitted by AICMEU (All India Council of Muslim Economic Upliftment Ltd.) - A Social Service organization registered under Bombay Public Trust Act – 1950 (vide No. E - 10118 (B) / 85).
